If so you'll love Cthulhu is Hard to Spell, featuring almost 500 pages of Lovecrafty goodness.

Whether you are a casual fan or a rabid one, we've got you covered.

The third volume, Cthulhu is Hard to Spell: Battle Royale, features stories by Trina Robbins (the first woman to draw Wonder Woman), David Pepose (Scout's Honor), Christian Gossett (The Red Star), and a fantastic cover by Aaron Alexovich (Invader Zim), among many fabulous writers and artists.

In total, over 75+ creators contributed 34 incredible stories to this third 180-page hardcover collection, and the results are pretty mindblowing.

Plus, the second volume featured over 70+ creators contributing 38 incredible stories across 160 full-color comic pages including ones from Paul Jenkins (Spider-Man) and Tony Donley (Grimm's Fairy Tales), Ray-Anthony Height (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur).

Plus, the first anthology is a 170-page hardcover collection featuring 34 amazing stories from 70 more creators, featuring stories by Lea Hernandez (Teen Titans Go) and Megan Hutchinson (Will o' the Wisp).

There are a total of 107 full-color comic stories in this anthology series, comprising over 500 pages of Lovecraftian goodness!

This series was made for people who know nothing about Lovecraft as much as somebody who loves Lovecraft deep in their bones.

There are many stories that discuss the deep, rich history of the universe, and give some psychological shocks in the old Lovecraft style, but there are also some simpler stories to ease people into the universe.

The great thing about Lovecraft is that he's been manipulated and remixed by so many people that there is something in Lovecraft for everybody, and that is what we really wanted to share in this book.

I believe Lovecraft permeates every inch of our culture, and the Cthulhu is Hard to Spell anthology series is the manifestation of that belief.

Cthulhu is Hard to Spell is a series steeped in the mythology and gods of Lovecraft. The stories inside its pages follow the spirit of Lovecraft, but often stray from the tone of Lovecraftian horror to delve into the lives of the gods and monsters themselves.

Lots of the stories in this book are Lovecraftian in nature down to their very core, but there are also funny stories, cute stories, fantasy stories, sci-fi stories, and much, much more which build on the Lovecraftian mythos.

If you love the gods and monsters of Lovecraft, then Cthulhu is Hard to Spell is going to blow you away.

Best of all, this anthology series is ALL AGES APPROPRIATE. These aren't stories made for children necessarily, at least not all of them, but we toned down the cursing (there is none), the violence (there is no blood), and there was never any sex, to make sure you could show it to your child, even if they won't understand it all.

I've had so many people thank me for making this book appropriate for their little ones while still creepy enough for them to enjoy. I really think there is something for everybody, from the hardcore fans to the ones you want to indoctrinate into the madness.

The Cthulhu is Hard to Spell series has always had a really light arc to it, meaning that while you might not notice it, there was a story there for people to find if they searched.

In the first book, the Lovecraftian gods plotted their invasion of the universe. In the second book, the gods invaded and took over the universe.

Now, in this third book, the gods of mythology have teamed up with heroes of old to take the universe back from the clutches of the Lovecraftian gods.

PLUS: As a special bonus for buying from my store, I'm going to include:

  • The Cthulhu is Hard to Spell theme song (both instrumental and lyrics versions)

  • A paper doll template you can print at home

  • Audio Commentary for all three books

WHY I LOVE THIS SERIES:

  • I met so many dear friends on this book, and worked with literal legends of comics like Trina Robbins and Paul Jenkins, along with building an amazing groups of readers and fans of fantasy and horror.
  • There is very little on the Mythos out in the world, and this book squarely focuses on the gods and monsters of the universe. Lots of people use it as a mini-monster manual for their campaigns because there is so little on the gods and monsters of Lovecraft's universe.
  • This book changed everything for me. I had some success before this series, but this book cemented my place in indie comics.

REVIEWS:

Cthulhu is Hard to Spell doesn't so much have reviews as raving fans. They absolutely adore this series.
